Acne Skin care regimen?

I have moderate acne on my face. I just started using the set of Clinique 3 Step. I tend to change their products with great frequency. I think after a week or so if something is not working, then I switch to something else. My doctor said that is what most we do, but you must give at least three months. I have read a lot of comments that Clinique was not the best to use. I tried Neutrogena Anti-Wrinkle Anti-Blemish in the past and it was great! but I notice that he said it was oil free and made my oily forehead. Is there a regimen of skin care that you recommend. Perhaps the Neutrogena with some kind of free Tonori alcohol and moisturizer should I use if I have oily skin? I also use BHA (beta hydroxy acid) in the evening on my face, I go times will use AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) in the morning. I notice that my face was pretty good lately, but I still have spines.
