Proactive Solution Review

It would be unreasonable to speak about acne treatments without discussing Proactiv Solution. It is certainly the most widespread and most commonly used acne treatment on the market today. However, with all the marketing, referrals and sales pitches found in a search that there are many opinions enough information available on the product. So I decided to solve this ...

Let's start with the formalities: Proactiv Solution was developed by dermatologists in early 1990 and released as an acne treatment in 1995. The treatment kit consists of three different solutions, a cleanser, toner, and lotion repair.

The cleaner is used to cleanse the skin of dirt, oils, and bacteria. The toner is used to maintain this level of cleanliness and continue to prevent the buildup of sebum and bacteria for a period of time. The repairing lotion is what it seems: he is used to repair skin damaged by blemishes or acne scars.

Proactiv Solution generally played a positive result against acne for most people who have used including me. For sufferers of severe, it usually reduce the severity and frequency of leaks, although in most cases will not clear your acne completely. For sufferers of light, they are not against the use of non-natural or cosmetic, Proactiv is probably the best treatment option in the market.

I emphasizing my use of the word "unnatural. There are other treatments available that are all natural and show similar efficacy, although these are less known and generally unpleasant or is more expensive. If you are looking for a holistic acne treatment, Proactiv is the product for you.

In general, the cleaner works as an exfoliant as it cleans dirt, oil and dead cells from the skin surface. It is quite effective in doing that and your skin usually feels very small after washing with this soap, but in my experience a generic face wash specifically designed as a scrub is generally more effective and less expensive.

The toner is applied after the skin is cleansed and is allowed to dry. The goal of the toner is applied a layer of benzoyl peroxide to the skin to continue the actions of the cleanser for a long period of time. He works to keep pores clear and prevent excessive secretion of sebum (keeping the skin free of oil). In doing so, however, will often find that unless you apply the toner moderate dry skin you will too. If applied too liberally, you'll usually see white flakes / powder appear on the skin like benzoyl peroxide continues to be overworked. For these reasons, it is important that you apply only the amount specified in the instructions, or what you think works for YOU.
NOTE: If applied correctly, toner, in general, may assist in making your skin look healthier and more radiant.

The repairing lotion, I discovered, is the most beneficial Proactiv System. Perhaps There is a more effective combination of ingredients or perhaps because he is a cream rather than a liquid, but the repairing lotion is very effective in reduction of inflammation of a pimple and healing the damaged skin after a breakout. You can usually see an improvement after a day or two to use lotion.

I have always promoted the use of all natural products, but the repairing lotion is still the most effective treatment commonly available in the healing skin after leaks and minimize acne scars. You can buy the lotion for compensation on their own through external sources but if you are going to do that you can also buy the system because the cleanser and toner products are still effective and you should use products like this, regardless of brand.

THE Active Ingredient:

The active ingredient in the Proactiv, as in many other acne treatment creams is benzoyl peroxide. peroxide benzoyl was developed by a scientist from Revlon in 1920 to treat acne and is used in concentrations of 2.5 - 10%. This chemical is absorbed through the skin and occurs a chemical reaction creating free radicals. It works by reducing the amount of sebum released and causing the surface of the skin to become overly dry, although tolerance is usually built after 1-2 weeks of use.

I would now like to mention that if your acne is caused by dry skin, you probably should avoid the product that you will most likely be adversely affected. This is because for some people a burning sensation, itch or sensation irritation occurs. If you try this product and your skin has an adverse reaction you should stop immediately and seek medical treatment / dermatology.

That said, the concentration of benzoyl peroxide in Proactiv is only 2.5%. Research has shown that this concentration is very better tolerated.

This substance, usually reduce the severity of your acne while it is in use, but since the benzoyl peroxide 'disappears' you will notice an influx of stains. This effect is very similar to antibiotic medication. If used frequently your body becomes accustomed to it and processes within the body are altered to match this entry. However, since the drug is stopped, your body is forced to move again and this process usually takes the opposite effect. With benzoyl peroxide, because this is the creation of sebum is retarded and acid is required to build within the skin rather than being launched and since benzoyl peroxide disappears a larger amount of sebum is produced and then must be released.

Moreover, peroxide benzoyl is used for dyeing hair and was found to bleach the color of clothes that come into contact. Always be careful what you're using and what you hit after apply a product Proactiv, and whenever you wash your hands thoroughly after application to avoid damaging your clothes - as you may or may not know, Clothes can not be bleached repaired.

All, despite the warnings, the Proactiv system is definitely an effective treatment for acne. Individual results have varied, as mentioned above, but in general you should see an improvement after using this for a few weeks. And if you only have a few flaws and do not preclude treatment unnatural, Proactiv is probably your best bet.
