Popular Acne Treatment

What is the best topical treatment for mild acne and sensitive skin?

I just recently stopped using Proactiv my system (the test kit) and I hated it. He made my skin peel and really hurt. I know my skin is sensitive, but I thought it was the more popular Proactiv for the job. Then I started to use St. Ives Apricot Scrub, as I did before I used that horrible thing. Please let me know if you have tried something better! Keep in mind my skin condition is not serious. Thanks guys!

Do not rub! Do not rub, do not rub, do not rub. Do not use anything that has "Scrubs" in the name, anyone. I can not emphasize enough. This will not only make your skin more irritated, but also more prone to acne. Wash your face only once a day, plus wash it in the shower. The best topical treatment for acne is a combination of benzoyl peroxide (the active ingredient in the Proactiv) and an antibiotic. The formulation Benzaclin is large (prescription) containing benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin. It is relatively mild on the skin. Although it contains benzoyl peroxide such as Proactiv, the vehicle is different and not as drying. At first, apply it every night before bed. You can experience a little dryness / redness, but your skin will get used to it. Just hang in there. Another option is to apply it only for a few hours (eg, four hours after school) and then wash. Take note that benzoyl peroxide will bleach your clothes (and leaves). Another option is to simply try to clindamycin, which usually is not drying at all. It is also a prescription drug. It does not work as well as Benzaclin, but it's worth trying. For dry skin and irritated, do not use a wash your face salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide in it, unless you do not intend to use any other acne treatments. There is an acne benzoyl peroxide new wash called Benziq. Benziq also comes in a leave-on gel (5.25% or 2.75%, for sensitive skin). Benziq is said to moisturize and treat the same time. I've heard good things about it, though I can not speak from personal experience. If you opt for a topical treatment, I suggest using Cetaphil cleanser to wash your face. It is recommended for use with children, if that gives you an idea of your kindness. Cetaphil lotion and cream are good, too. I usually use the cream in the cold months and lotion during the warmer months. I should add that the toners are bad. All you do is remove the oil from the surface of your skin. Oil the surface, not is a predominant cause of acne. Also, do not worry about what you eat (in terms of acne). Although there have been some studies that showed that the regions of world who lack access to simple carbohydrates, have fewer problems with acne, the researchers themselves admitted that there is insufficient information to make a concrete statement about the effects of diet on the severity of acne. The regions sampled are very sunny, sun exposure is known to improve acne. It is difficult to define a relationship of cause and effect, in the above studies. Good luck!
